Even in this time of recession, there is no problem for the right kind of startups in raising money. Posterous, a startup that provides services for blogging, has got $725,000 in a new angel funding event.

Posterous helps you to write blogs for different platforms. It allows you to post blog entries in different ways- through email, using web sites, and via SMS message. It can be used to blog on Wordpress, Blogger, Tumblr, TypePad, MovableType, LiveJournal and Xanga.

Adding a new feature, Posterous, has launched a group blog feature. With this feature, you will be able to attach other emails to your Posterous blog thereby allowing your friends, family members to write posts.
The angel funding was first reported by TechCrunch. In this round of investment XG-Ventures and a group of individual angel investors took part. The group was led by Satish Dharmaraj, co-founder of Yahoo-acquired email startup Zimbra.
