Microspot unveiled the Interiors Professional v4.1. This version is the latest of its 3D interior design, modeling and animation software for Mac OS X. For the new version, you will need to shell out $249.

This software is for users who are interior decorators, architects, product designers or people who need visualization of interior spaces. First you can build virtual 3D spaces and then animate them. The software also includes a library with about 2,000 items. It supports 3DS or Google SketchUp 6 file importing.

What’s New

There is an Edit Wall tool, which is new in this version, which will allow you to create room layouts by modifying existing models or drawing a rough layout. You can also correct and adjust it for your requirements. It allows to edit walls in 2D or 3D, move, do variation in thickness, height and length.

Another new feature is a vertex editing tool which allows users to subdivide and split surface geometries, and adjust elasticity.

System requirements

You need to have Mac OS X 10.4 or later and a G5 or Intel processor, 1GB RAM and 1GB free hard disk space.
